# Your account and your data

Deletion is handled personally by **Chris Pagliocca**, the owner of The Pull.

## Close your account and request deletion

In **My account**, choose **Close my account and request deletion**. This immediately stops your participation and records your request in the staff queue. The stored data is not instantly erased. Chris will review the request and aim to respond within 30 days.

## Request help without closing your account

Email **paglioccachris@gmail.com** from your registered email address. Include your username and whether you want access, a correction, or deletion. You can use this route if your account is suspended, unfinished, or inaccessible.

Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents or private information about another member. Chris may ask for limited confirmation that the account is yours.

## What happens next

- Chris checks the request and identifies the account and relevant records.
- Chris explains any question about scope, shared content or information that must be retained.
- Data removal is carried out through protected administration tools. Removing a sign-in account alone does not remove its community records.
- Chris confirms the result, including anything retained and the reason. A closed-account message is not a deletion-complete receipt.

Other members’ copies and content outside the service cannot be recalled. Read the privacy notice for information about storage and access.

## Password recovery

Use **Forgot password?** on the sign-in page. A recovery email goes through Firebase. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive. The owner will never ask you to send your password.
